Just installed Macspeech on my macbook.
Went through training and everything worked fine.
Now will not work at ALL in any text box field.
When I go back to voice training and read the 'books' there it will not even recognize the first word.
    All words turn red.
The audio is set up correctly in system preferences.
I have tried quitting and restarting several times.
I even tried making new profiles. Each one does the same thing

I'm having a similar experience on an iMac System 10.6.2 and MSD 1.5.8 having upgraded from the earlier system and MSD version which worked well some months ago; I haven't needed to use it in the meantime. My existing profile does not recognise any audio input now. When I created a new profile, the audio WAS recognised but I haven't got around to re-training it yet.

This begs the question why the previously functioning profile no longer works. I’m using a Plantronics headset.

    Problem seems solved.

My previous profile was fixated on the idea I was using an internal microphone. Since I created a new profile with correct microphone selected, the problem seems to have been resolved.
