New Edition Of The Leading Personal Transcription Solution For Mac Supports English, French, German and Italian

Share

MacSpeech Scribe International -- the leading multi-lingual personal transcription solution for the Macintosh, with support for English, French, German and Italian -- is now available for purchase through MacSpeech.

MacSpeech Scribe -- powered by Dragon speech recognition -- lets users automatically transcribe their recorded dictation into written text with up to 99 percent accuracy. With support for multiple languages, MacSpeech Scribe International automatically creates an individual speech profile, in one of four languages – English, French, German or Italian – from an initial recorded sample of a person’s voice. Scribe will use that speech profile – in the language of choice – to convert recorded dictation into text. A single MacSpeech Scribe license can create and use up to six individual voice profiles, each compatible with supported high-quality audio file formats, which are .wav, .aif, .aiff, .m4v, .mp4, or .m4a formats.

When recording dictation on an iPhone, on an iPod touch, with a digital voice recorder, or directly on a Mac, users can include spoken punctuation, and MacSpeech Scribe will automatically include the punctuation marks in the transcribed text. Audio file quality directly impacts transcription accuracy achieved, and MacSpeech Scribe customers are encouraged to minimize background noise and use a high-quality recording device, such as those listed at www.macspeech.com/recording/.
